Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CG to the Max LLC ("Sports Safe," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services. By using Sports Safe, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following:

• Account information: your name and email address when you create an account.
• Field locations: the geographic coordinates and names of the athletic fields you choose to monitor. This information comes from an address you type in when adding a field, or from a one-time location check when you tap "monitor my current location." We do not track your device's location continuously or in the background.
• Subscription information: your plan tier and, if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details processed by our payment processors — Stripe for web subscriptions and Apple for in-app purchases (we do not store full card numbers).
• Usage and device data: basic technical information such as browser type, IP address, and interactions with the service, used to operate and improve it.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide weather-safety monitoring for the fields you save.
• Send you the alerts and notifications you have enabled.
• Manage your account, subscription, and preferences.
• Maintain the security and reliability of the service.
• Communicate with you about the service.

Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate Sports Safe, including Google Firebase (authentication and database), our hosting provider, a weather-data provider used to generate alerts, Mapbox and Geocodio for mapping and address search, and, for paid plans, Stripe (web subscriptions) and Apple (in-app purchases) as payment processors. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the service and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. Our weather-data provider receives only the field-location coordinates needed to generate alerts, and does not receive your name, email address, or billing information; a company contact email required by that provider's own terms is Sports Safe's own address, not yours. Mapbox and Geocodio receive only the address text you enter when adding or searching for a field location. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you close your account, we delete your personal account information — your name, email address, and billing details — immediately. Two categories of records are retained after account closure as part of the service's safety-documentation function: the safety readings a coach or staff member logs to document that conditions were checked before or during an activity, and messages sent within a coach's own team. These records may include the name of the coach or staff member who created them; they do not include an athlete's name. We retain these records indefinitely because they serve as the safety and communication record our customers rely on us to maintain, and because they may be relevant to a future safety-related inquiry. We also retain records we are required to keep by law, such as tax or billing records. You may request deletion of your personal account information at any time by contacting us. If you request deletion of safety-log or team-messaging records, we will evaluate that request consistent with the retention practice described above and applicable law.

Your choices

You can update your account information, adjust your notification preferences, and request access to or deletion of your data, subject to the retention practices described above. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Sports Safe does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will respond to verified requests within the time required by applicable law. Children's privacy

Sports Safe is intended for use by coaches, athletic staff, and other adults. It monitors weather conditions at physical locations; it is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it. Coaches and league organizers should avoid entering personally identifiable information about individual youth athletes (such as a minor's full name) into the service beyond what is necessary for field and team identification.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
