What we watch

Four hazards. One clear signal.

Everything a coach or parent needs to make the call without watching the radar all afternoon.

Clear the field until at least 12:10 PM. Last strike within 15 miles at 11:40 AM.

Lightning

Live strike tracking out to 35 miles around each field, with a clear the field radius you set from 6 to 15 miles. The all clear comes only after 30 minutes with no strikes inside it.

Sports Safe is built by Collin and his team at Texas Ridge Labs. We set out to create an easy way for busy coaches and parents to know when lightning was close by. Along the way we realized how big a part heat plays in athlete safety, and that grew into what Sports Safe is today.
